Join Team Maryland!
Team Maryland is a group of transplant recipients, living donors, donor families and supporters who compete in the Transplant Games of America– a multi-sport festival competition held every two years.
During the Games, transplant recipients and living donors compete in Olympic-style events. In addition, special events are organized for donor family members and living donors during this four day celebration. Competitors of all ages compete in a variety of events from track and field to basketball to table tennis.
More than an athletic event, the Transplant Games highlight the critical importance of organ and tissue donation, while celebrating the lives of organ, eye ad tissue donors and recipients.
