Director, Donor Services Center
Kate began her career at Infinite Legacy in 2005 as a donor services coordinator. Kate’s degree in Biology, combined with her work experience coordinating organ, eye and tissue donation, inspired her to go back to school to obtain her nursing degree. While working at Infinite Legacy, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Stevenson University, and specialized in trauma critical care in the Multi Trauma Critical Care Unit at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
Kate has held various roles in the department, including coordinator, training specialist and clinical manager, in addition to her current role as Director of the Donor Services Center. During Kate’s tenure, she has led the department expansion as the communication center and the Promethera Biosciences research organization.
Kate is a member of the Association for Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO) and the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) and is CTBS certified through AATB.
