I was diagnosed with Kidney disease in 2007 and received my first kidney transplant from my brother-in-law February 2010. I was cruising along doing well until 2017. My transplanted kidney started to fail. I was relisted in August 2017. In late 2018 I was forced to start hemodialysis. I begun to train for home hemodialysis and started at home in late January 2019 2x a week. During this time I recieved multiple calls for a kidney and then December 30,2019 ,I received the call that changed my life. Since receiving my second kidney transplant I've been living my best life. I enjoy sharing my story and volunteering for Infinite Legacy.
